Hospital Ordem da Trindade

Although the origin of the Ordem da Trindade dates back to May 14th 1755, its Hospital was opened about a hundred years later, on June 6th 1852 and expanded/modernized in 1970.

In 2008, the hospital proceeded to the total restructuring of the Operating Room with a workforce of five fully equipped surgical suites; reformulation of Central Sterilization with two autoclaves double entry and a unit of hydrogen peroxide; renovation and expansion of the Post-Anesthetic Care Unit (for up to five patients simultaneously); redefinition of ambulatory surgery with two rooms and differentiation of circuits; and a fully equipped delivery room.

The Ordem da Trindade Hospital is an institution that prides itself on its past, but that does not neglect the technological advances and future challenges.
